Price of advertised programme

The price of each programme is advertised in the ‘Booking’ section of the website www.radius-ski.com. Radius reserves the right to alter the price at any time. Price changes do not apply retrospectively and no price change may be applied to a programme that has been paid in full by a Radius client. At the sole discretion of Radius management, price changes may be applied to any Radius client who has not paid up in full by the date of the price change being advertised on the Radius website. All Radius clients must pay for their week’s programme within 7 days of dispatch of the booking confirmation email, by bank transfer into the account that is confirmed in that same email.

Advertised prices include

All airport to resort transfers; all transport during the week related to the ski programme (hotel to helicopter pick-up and return point transfers, inter-resort transfers if necessary); ski domain lift passes for all accessed ski resorts; helicopter flights; ski coaching & guiding; ski equipment hire, including skis, bindings, poles and helmets; all necessary off-piste safety equipment; rescue insurance; full board hotel & refuge accommodation; lunches; access to spa, fitness and relaxation facilities; any programmed non-skiing sports activities or replacement sports activities.

NB Clients must provide their own medical, accident, loss, theft, cancellation and repatriation insurance.

Non-payment

All Radius clients will be given a period of delay after the due date of payment (7 days from confirmation email, see above) within which to make full payment and this period will be determined at the sole discretion of Radius management. Any non-paid or part-paid confirmed booking will be cancelled by Radius management once 14 days have elapsed after the receipt of the booking confirmation email; in the event of cancellation of a booking due to non-payment or part-payment, a reimbursement less a 10% penalty charge will be made.

Cancellation of a booking by the client

A booking may be cancelled at any time by a client prior to a booked week’s programme and based on receipt of full payment certain reimbursements will be made as follows

  • Less than 2 weeks prior to date of booked week = 0%
  • Between 4 weeks and 2 weeks prior to date of booked week = 25%
  • Between 8 weeks and 4 weeks prior to date of booked week = 50%
  • Before 8 weeks prior to date of booked week = 90%

Clients are advised to take out their own cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by Radius of a booking or all or part of a weekly programme

Radius reserves the right to cancel a booking or all or part of a weekly programme for the following reasons, and the appropriate reimbursement will be applied accordingly:

  • Non-payment of a booking = no reimbursement
  • Part-payment of a booking = reimbursements at the discretion of Radius management
  • If full payment has been received and Radius cancel a booking for a weekly programme for the following reasons then the following reimbursements will be made;
    • Total cancellation due to insufficient number of clients subscribed = 100% reimbursement
    • Total cancellation due to poor weather and snow conditions with no other solutions available = 100% reimbursement
    • Partial cancellation due to poor weather and snow conditions where the ski-training and heli-skiing is cancelled = 50% reimbursement (full board and lodging, ski-pass, equipment, spa, local sports facility access and transfers still available*)
    • Partial cancellation due to poor weather and snow conditions where the ski-training and heli-skiing is cancelled but other activities and solutions are provided = 25% reimbursement (availability of above* plus ski domain guiding and other sports and social activities included)
    • Partial cancellation due to poor weather and snow conditions where the heli-skiing is cancelled = the cost of each cancelled heli-ski lift
  • Unsatisfactory standard of skiing demonstrated by a client, as follows:
    • All booked clients must fill out a ‘ski ability form’
    • All booked clients will be assessed by the Radius Head Coach (Technical Director)
    • If the client does not possess or achieve a sufficient standard of ski ability, contrary to the information filled in on the ‘ski ability form’ to satisfy the Head Coach of their and others safety on any or all of the programmed heli-ski tours then the Head Coach and Radius management have the unequivocal right to restrict or terminate their passage on any or all helicopter lifts and summit descents.
    • In the case of restriction of helicopter and summit descent passage Radius management will offer a local fully qualified ‘Brevet Nationale’ (Swiss) ski instructor to guide and coach the client during the remainder of their stay as an alternative with a 15% reimbursement. If the client chooses to stay in the provided accommodation and free-ski for the remainder of the week with no instruction or terminate their stay and return home then a reimbursement of 30% will be provided.
  • All reimbursements will be made by bank transfer into the client’s account within 14 days of the end of the relevant weekly programme.

Personal damages waiver

Radius does not accept any personal liability for its clients during any heli-ski or any other skiing or sporting activities for matters outside of its control, except in the case of gross negligence, as detailed in the ‘Personal Waiver’ that each client must agree to sign before attending any weekly programme.
